I went to Mong Kok with my best friend Ronnie a few days ago. We bumped into a traditional Hong Kong restaurant, Man Wah Coffee Shop. We normally call these restaurants Cha Chaan Teng in Cantonese.
This is my first time to post video online. What do you think?
Address : G/F, 204 Sai Yeung Choi Street, Mong Kok

I miss eating at these places, looking forward to the Summer when I get to go back for a few weeks - thanks for sharing Christian. Hope you had a great CNY too!
ReplyDeleteYou too :)
DeleteI am curious why this place is called coffee shop?
ReplyDeleteEmm well. I do not know either because I do not know much about the history of Hong Kong :/ Sorry.
DeleteI absolutely love the video!! It is very well done and professional. I think it makes me see China through a different light; even though most of the shops and restaurants are dingy or dirty, I've always appreciated that low-quality yet homey/authentic feeling.
