Life | Postcrossing 1

These two cards are sending to Russia. The left one is to Kovaleva in Novosibirsk. The right one is to Alexander in Moskovskaya Oblast. These two cards reveal and capture the old good times in Hong Kong. The left one is actually a shop selling Chinese Herbal Tea. Chinese believe that drinking herbal tea could help combat diseases. The right one is a photo studio. In bygone days, not many could afford a camera so people mostly go to photo studio to take family portraits.

This is to Kirsten in Germany. She said that she likes taxi on Postcrossing so I picked this one for her.

This is to Cora in Netherlands. She said that she loves old cars on Postcrossing. This card has been added to her favorite cards on Postcrossing.

This one is to Kovalchuk in U.S.A.

Postcrossing is a website which serves as a medium for people to send postcards to strangers all around the world. For more, please read their website. I joined it back in December and I have already sent out 8 postcards. I have received 4. I will share them with you later.

Living in a world full of advanced technology like tablets and smartphones, people are gradually adiaphorous to each other because one often prefers texting to calling. Not only is it heartwarming but also precious to receive a card hand-written by a person with those exotic stamps sticking on the postcard.

P.S. It costs me only 3 bucks to send a postcard to any places around the world. I am astonished when I know this. I thought it charges like around 10 bucks. (Yes, I have never sent a letter nor a parcel to anyone except the subscription of magazine.)
